Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy was developed by Dr. John Upledger around 1983 and is based on Osteopathy in the Cranial Field (OCF), which was developed in 1899 by William Garner Sutherland.

A craniosacral therapy session involves the therapist placing their hands on the patient with light touch, which allows them to work on the release of trauma and restriction in the body, whether due to physical or emotional trauma. The Craniosacral treatment modality is used in the treatment of mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ Syndrome, and chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia.
